These terms apply to the services of Púls Media ehf., reg. no. 490321-2680, Lágmúla 5, 108 Reykjavík (hereinafter referred to as Púls). By accepting these terms, the user declares that they have read, understood, and accepted the terms in their entirety.
Information about Púls Ad Market
The advertising market of Púls Media is an open market where companies can purchase advertising displays on various domestic advertising media through self-service.
Liability limitations
Púls is not responsible for the advertising content that advertisers use when purchasing displays in Púls's advertising market. All advertisers who purchase displays in the advertising market must register a responsible person who has identified themselves with electronic identification and accepted the terms of this agreement. The responsible person of the company is liable for the content that is published and ensuring that the media's rules regarding prohibited advertisements are followed. The responsible person is also liable for ensuring that the publication of advertising content complies with national laws.
Púls does not guarantee financial compensation that may arise due to system downtime, such as in the case where Púls may, for example, be subject to attacks and/or interruptions from hosting services or other parts of Púls's system.
Púls does not guarantee that all advertising displays ordered by the advertiser through Púls will be published and/or that the advertiser's publication plans will be fully met. Publication plans and schedules are made based on the number of publications that Púls receives from the advertising medium, and thus visitor numbers and other external factors at the medium itself can influence publication plans.
Púls does not guarantee that advertisements published through the Púls system will display correctly and/or function on all possible devices that people may use to view advertising media.
Púls does not guarantee that statistics related to advertising displays are 100% accurate in all cases.
Rejection of advertising content
Púls and the advertising media that advertisements can be purchased from through the Púls system reserve the right to reject any advertisements and/or stop the publication of advertisements that have already been published.
Access termination
Púls reserves the right to terminate access to the Púls system if
the advertising content published does not comply with national laws or the rules of the media
Púls staff assesses that the advertising content is inappropriate
Due to delays in payment
Credits
Púls and advertising media that advertisements can be purchased from through the Púls system do not guarantee that free display credits can be used at any time.
Pricing
All prices in the Púls system are published subject to errors and changes. Púls reserves the right to stop publications if an incorrect price was displayed at the time of purchase of displays.
Information from media and target groups
All information from advertising media is obtained from the media themselves. Púls does not guarantee that this information is correct.
Invoices and payments
Púls sends invoices on the 21st of each month for usage in the system for the period from the 21st day of the previous month to the 20th day of the current month. A claim is automatically generated in the company's internet bank. Púls sends invoices electronically if the customer can receive electronic invoices; otherwise, an invoice is sent as a PDF document via email. Púls will under no circumstances send invoices in paper form. The due date for invoices is 5-7 days. If they are not paid by that time, they will automatically be sent to the collection process.
Retention, handling, and user responsibility
All use of Púls is at the user's own risk. If a dispute or damage arises due to the use of Púls, it is entirely unrelated to and without liability from the owners of Púls Media ehf. The user cannot claim any damages or refunds from Púls for the use of the system.
Security policy and handling of personal data
Púls is the data controller in data processing, as defined in the laws on data protection and the European Union's GDPR regulation, and the processing of personal data is fair and transparent. The user can contact Púls at any time to:
Request access to the information that Púls has about the user
Correct the information that Púls has about the user
Delete the information that Púls has about the user
Or utilize other rights stipulated in the applicable data protection laws.
Púls follows Icelandic laws on the processing of personal data and the utmost security is ensured in handling them. When a user purchases advertising displays through Púls's advertising market, information about the user and the company is shared with the relevant advertising medium. The information is not used for other purposes.
If there is a change in the ownership of Púls, it will not affect the rights and obligations of the user, and Púls's services will remain unchanged irrespective of such changes unless the user is notified otherwise with reasonable notice.

Changes to the terms and other notifications
The user has access to the current terms on Púls's website, www.pulsmedia.is. Púls is authorized to change the provisions of these terms unilaterally. Notification of changes to the terms is sent by email to registered users in the Púls system. The user accepts the aforementioned methods of communication. Púls reserves the right to communicate with its users via SMS messages and email. Púls will only send information to users concerning the company's services and not solicitations from third parties.
All matters that may arise from the use of Púls shall, unless otherwise agreed, be governed by Icelandic law. If a dispute arises regarding violations of these terms or disputes over their interpretation, it may be prosecuted in the District Court of Reykjavik.
Validity period
These terms are issued by Púls and are valid from May 15, 2022, until new terms take effect.
