Publisher Platform with CPM Support
With the Púls Publisher Platform, advertisers can manage and control everything related to sold impressions conveniently. The media system provides an overview of the impressions inventory and updates in real-time. This way, advertisers always have reliable and accurate information about sold impressions, their status, and availability. What makes the Publisher Platform particularly powerful is the ability to sell ads in CPM units instead of time slots only. Estimated Ad Inventory
The Púls system uses a 7-day rolling average to estimate the ad inventory for the days ahead. For web media with highly fluctuating traffic, it is possible to adjust the estimated quantity on specific weekdays. To do this you will need contact hallo@pulsmedia.is.
Distribution of Purchased Ads
If only 50% of the estimated impressions for the day have been sold, so-called "Free impressions" are mixed in between the purchased ads. This is done to ensure that the purchased ads do not run out by 1 PM and that only Free Ads remain to fill the rest of the day.
