Automated Ad Content Production for the Premier League
Púls' SmartBanner solution is used to create the majority of web ads for the Premier Leagues in Iceland, 100% automatically, for local web media, social media, and digital out of home billboards.
"Head to Head" SmartBanner
The Púls' software automatically produces over 4,200 "head2head" banners for each season. This includes between 5-600 games in the men's and women's Premier League in sizes for local web media, social media, bus displays, and large billboards.
Púls is directly integrated to KSÍ (Icelandic Football Federation), and the banners are automatically updated if matches are rescheduled due to national breaks and cup competitions. When the schedule for the playoffs becomes clear in the latter part of the season, the software will automatically produce new banners.
The "head2head" banner only appears if there are 5 days or less until the game is to be played; otherwise, other banners take over. See the project detail here
"Next Games" Banner
The "Next Games" SmartBanner is a traditional scrolling banner available in two versions, showing the upcoming games in the men's and women's Premier League. The banner automatically updates in several sizes and is used on local web outlets. The landscape scrolling banner is designed and implemented by Púls in a "depth" manner, so its content (the games) moves behind the player (the model) when the user scrolls sideways. Social Media Assets
The Púls platform autogenerates social media assets and automatically feeds them to active campaigns in the Meta Commerce Manager or through integration with Smartly. Social campaigns automatically go on pause when there are more than 5 days until the next game's kickoff.
Employees at the Premier League also have their own Púls access and can manually download assets when posting on social media.
Automatic, location-based distribution to DOOH billboards in the home-team's Neighborhood
With the Púls system, the Premier League can create rules for specific advertisements and automatically deliver and distribute all ad content related to, for example, KR home games, so that they only appear in display-ads on bus-stops in the West-Side of Reykjavík.
Next Steps
The plan is to use Púls software to automatically produce other content related to games, results, and statistics for TV and other media outlets.
