Revolutionizing Advertising with Púls

Having worked in media buying and planning at Hvíta húsið for nearly 20 years, I've had the privilege of collaborating with some of the largest and most prominent companies in Iceland. Throughout my career, I've encountered various systems and platforms, each with its own set of strengths and weaknesses. However, when we adopted the Púls platform in 2022, I was introduced to a system that is far more advanced than anything I had previously worked with.

The visual interface and data presentation in Púls, combined with its automation and other smart features, make the system exceptionally superior.

The service provided by Púls is outstanding! They are always quick to respond and efficiently address any requests for additions or adjustments. This has made our collaboration incredibly smooth. Our designers also use the system to upload all content themselves, which has significantly improved the workflow and process of setting up advertisements.

We also notice the active development within the system. Almost every month, Púls introduces exciting and valuable updates. Our collaboration with Púls has been particularly fruitful in managing campaigns for Icelandair, likely one of the country's largest advertisers, with all their campaigns set up in the Púls system. Whether it's traditional campaigns or SmartBanners for Icelandair, our partnership with Púls has been excellent. I know that the staff who have been working with the Púls system are very satisfied with the service provided by Púls.

Working with placements in outdoor media after Púls added this functionality to their system has been a MASSIVE revolution compared to how it was before.

The time saved by setting up campaigns in the Púls system and no longer having to send every single image to the billboard companies and rely on them to set it up correctly is enormous. In the case of Icelandair, where the volume of advertising material is so vast, the Púls system has likely saved us many days or even weeks in terms of hours.

We have outdoor scripts for almost all our clients who advertise in billboard media. Being able to make changes ourselves without relying on the media staff to be available is absolutely fantastic, especially on weekends if something comes up, or if a client suddenly wants to change something. The Púls app has also been incredibly useful in these situations.

When you're not at your computer, you can quickly make changes on your phone with the app, whether you're out of the office or abroad—it's incredibly convenient.

The Púls Ad-Market is also a very exciting solution that we have been increasingly utilizing to purchase impressions through self-service—an absolute game-changer. What I would love to see in the future for us at Hvíta Húsið is the ability to use the Púls system to manage and even book impressions across more types of advertising media, such as social and broadcast media.

In conclusion, Púls has revolutionized how we handle media planning and buying at Hvíta Húsið. The future of advertising is bright, and I am excited continue working with and seeing how Púls continues to innovate and develop their solutions.
